5/31 Pool Update – Power has been restored to the clubhouse. We are working with our management company to address one safety concern about a circuit breaker, but hope to have good news soon.
5/29 Pool update – Dominion Power has confirmed that they will not be back to restore power to the clubhouse until Tuesday 5/31 at the earliest. The pool will unfortunately remain closed through the holiday weekend.
5/28 Pool update -We are very sorry to share the real possibility that the pool may not be able to open this weekend. Some time yesterday we became aware that power to the clubhouse and pool was partially lost. This means there is not enough current/voltage to support the pool pumps and lights. Dominion Power is giving us mixed messages, but the on-site technician believes it will be after the holiday before they can resolve the issue. We will be posting information as we receive it to Facebook and to the website, but without a working pump and lighting, the board is not comfortable opening the pool.
We realize that this decision will impact many holiday plans (including those of us on the board) and we are committed to doing everything in our power to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
